To Save Tracks to a Portable device

To burn the songs/tracks onto CD, click on your CD Creator (which you should have already installed). Older versions may not recognise WMA (Windows Media Audio) files. Once you have installed your CD burner you can simply click on “drag to disk” which will open your CD burner. Then drag the track or tracks you want to copy to the disk displayed on your desktop. You will know the track is being burnt because the disk starts to turn. It should not take long, well under a minute per song.

The procedure sounds quite easy but it is not. It is worthwhile taking the time to read the onscreen tutorial on how to use your CD rewriter software.

Remember to use a CD-R disk and not a rewriteable CD. The rewriteable CD will not play on all home stereo CD players.

You can download MP3s and you can play them on your PC using the RealPlayer plug-in, the Windows Media Player, or Apple iTunes, as well as a range of other free software.

To play MP3s otherwise you will need an MP3 player. There are lots of them on the market and www.mp3.com gives a good description of the different types available.
