Advanced Driver Training
The Advanced Driving Test has been in existence since 1956. It aims to improve the standard of driving on the roads and the advancement of road safety. For information on Advanced Driver Training in Ireland and to apply for the Advanced Driving Test check, out the following website.

You can request a brochure and an application form for the test by e-mailing your details using the contact form on the website.
Open the website and select the Contact Us link. The following screen should open.
Once you have filled in the details, select Send Request.
You will get a notification that your request has been processed and accepted.
Hibernian Insurance also provides Advanced Driver Training. Their programme ‘Ignition’ was developed in 2001, in association with the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) UK. Details of Ignition can be found on their website www.hibernian.ie
